Language Art
For this assignment, we had to create six or more word art drawings. Each word had to be drawn in a way that would represent itself. For example, to draw the word fat, you would write the word in fat, bubbly letters. Also, three out of the six of our drawings needed to be colored and represented in a picture. The other three words just had to be drawn by themselves and no color was necessary. My favorite language art is the pencil picture. I like how I used pencils on each of the letters and as an underline. The picture looks very cute and is colored in well with bold colors.
PerSonal LogoS
For this assignment, we had to draw four or more logos that symbolize who we are. First, we had to draw logos that represented our hobbies, then we dug deeper and drew logos that represented our hobbies in an even more meaningful way. We had to reflect on who we are and draw logos to represent us. My favorite logo is the cupcake logo because I think it reflects me really well. I love to bake cupcakes, and I also like how I drew the cupcake in a "graffiti" type of way.
half Drawing
For this assignment, we had to draw the other half of a magazine picture. The drawing had to be shaded with different values and as realistic as possible. While completing this assignment, I learned how to study the details of drawings before sketching them out on paper. I also learned how to shade colors together to make images look more realistic. The most difficult part of this assignment was drawing the picture to look like the magazine picture and shading in the darker parts.
GrafItti ChOice WoRds
I learned how to draw graffiti using the bubble style technique for these words. I had never drawn anything "graffiti" style before, so learning a style through a step-by-step process was very interesting and informative. The most difficult part of creating these words was figuring out where to shade and add lines for more dimension. I enjoyed coloring and creating designs for my words as well.
Graffiti Object
For this assignment, we had to take an everyday object and make it graffiti style in some way. My everyday objects were baking supplies. I have all of those in black and white to add some dimension to the picture. In the background, I added bright splotches of color to create a vibrant look. I gave these objects a graffiti style by doing black and white lines. There are different widths of markers that I used to add contrast.
